Apple Blossom Village Early Childhood Programs are nature based and promote healthy development of young children in a nurturing, gentle, and imaginative environment. Our programs preserve the magic of childhood through a head, heart, and hands approach to learning in the outdoors. Our days include free play, singing and fingerplays, nature stories, and daily activities that nurture the senses and provide plenty of time for movement. See below for current and upcoming programs. seedlings Preschool 2024 - 25:
*Seedlings Preschool combines with Forest Kindergarten Monday and Wednesday mornings
Seedlings M/W Class - Age 3 by March 1 to age 5
M/W 9:00 - 11:45 am (no classes in January) *preschoolers combine with Apple Blossom Forest Kindergarten $200/month
Friday Friends Class - Age 3 by March 1 to age 6
Offered 2 Fridays/month depending on interest. (no classes in January) Forest Fridays meet at Lake Bemidji State Park.

Join Apple Blossom Village Director in the beautiful Bemidji Early Childhood Coalition’s play space for a morning of relaxation and learning while we observe the little ones playing indoors and outdoors. *Includes a field trip to the Apple Blossom Yurts on our last day (weather permitting).
We will explore Simplicity Parenting Concepts from Kim John Payne’s book:
Daily, weekly and seasonal rhythms,
How to set up the home environment to promote harmony and peace,
Modeling purposeful work,
Adding calming rituals at mealtime and bedtime, and
Adding more nature and outdoors to your days and less screentime, to create healthy attachment between caregiver and child and nurture care for the earth and all living beings.
Includes a wholesome snack for parents and kids (vegan, gluten free, and non-dairy options available)
