Adult/Child Outdoor Activities

Geared for parents with kids ages 5 - 12 years (siblings welcome), each Friday includes unplugged play and a seasonal activity of the day such as cooking over the fire, storytelling, whittling, handwork such as knitting, weaving, or felting, group games, garden harvest, and nature exploration. Meets at the Apple Blossom Yurts. We may also meet at Neilson Spearhead or Bemidji State Park 1 - 3 times. Snack included

 

Parent Book Study and Discussion

Parents will have time to discuss their reading of the book Balanced and Barefoot by Angela J. Hanscomb, in this first session of the school year.
